Job summary

Martin's Famous Potato Rolls and Bread is seeking a Dough Preparation Lead to supervise production workers in our dough preparation area. You will coordinate material flow, ensure quality, and lead safety and training initiatives.

The role offers competitive pay, weekly pay, and benefits including 401k and health plans. Evening hours with a Tue-Sat schedule support a steady production rhythm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One to three years' related experience and/or training.
• Experience in baking or manufacturing industry.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Experience with operating forklift and pallet jack.
• Ability to pass Food Safety HACCP training and competency test.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans flow of materials through department according to work orders.
• Inspects and measures product to verify conformance to specifications.
• Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Assists workers in solving work problems.
• Maintains time and production records and safety/quality records.
• Coordinates repair work with general maintenance.
• Enforces safety, food safety, and GMP regulations.
