Job summary

Ruan in Rexford, KS is seeking a full-time Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate timely pickup and delivery, assign workloads to drivers, monitor movements, and resolve scheduling issues. You will use dispatch systems and MS Office to capture data in near real-time.

Requirements include 1–2 years in transportation or related work, knowledge of DOT rules, and strong communication skills. Onsite role with a 4 on 4 off night schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years in transportation, dispatching or related roles.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of customer orders within assigned area.
• Direct and schedule drivers' work; notify them of assignments to ensure on-time movement.
• Monitor driver activities, hours of service, and performance; resolve issues.
• Maintain data in dispatch systems; update driver and dispatch information in real time.
• Promote safety in all dispatch activities.
