Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Operate one or more furnaces to melt aluminum ingots and scrap for die casting.
• Regulate furnace temperatures and charge furnaces with ingot and scrap.
• Deliver molten metal to die-cast machines on a set schedule for consistent melt temperatures.
• Assist in cooling the furnace and inspect refractory lining for cracks/defects.
• Set up die-casting cells with ladle, robotic equipment, and trim presses; adjust dies as needed.
• Safely fill ladles, operate lift trucks, and pour metal during machine setup.
