Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Cardiovascular ICU for night shifts. The role requires patient-centered care, coordination with physicians and the care team, and adherence to safety and infection control standards.

The RN will monitor and intervene during critical care, assist with procedures, administer meds, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Documents assessments and reports changes in condition to care team.
• Provides age-appropriate care and education using knowledge of development.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develops and evaluates individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions, plans, and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control standards and equipment safety.
• Performs regular documentation and participates in audits and quality initiatives?
• Demonstrates professional development and adherence to regulations.
