Physicians Regional Medical Center - Pine Ridge campus in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Surgical ICU on a PRN night schedule. The role focuses on patient-centered care with ICU-level nursing competencies, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.

Candidates should have 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience, RN licensure, and BLS, with ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience required.
• RN licensure and BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Experience with ICU patient care and critical care procedures.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care in line with nursing process and protocols.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and documents findings.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code team activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Ensures infection control adherence and patient safety.
• Operates and monitors medical equipment as required.
• Maintains accurate nursing documentation and records.
