Job summary

The University of North Georgia is seeking a Custodial Supervisor for the Gainesville campus on night crew. This role supervises 10-20 custodians across multiple buildings, ensuring clean, safe, and presentable facilities during night shifts.

Responsibilities include assigning duties, inspecting work, coordinating after-hours support for events, and maintaining equipment and supply levels. A valid GA driver's license and custodial experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two (2) years custodial experience.
• Possess a valid State of Georgia Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a 10-15 personnel custodial staff.
• Assign duties, inspect work, critique and counsel subordinate employees.
• Manage the custodial operations of multiple buildings which includes floor and carpet maintenance, trash pickup, cleaning of offices, classrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms, treatment rooms and common areas.
• Maintaining custodial equipment and supply levels for buildings to operate.
• Coordinate after hours/weekend support for specials events/emergencies.
• Oversee the outside appearance of assigned buildings.
• Assist with set up and take down of special events.
• Assist the floor crew as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned or needed to support UNG operations.
