Job summary

MetroHealth radiology department in Northeast Ohio seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and educate patients about examinations. The role involves scheduling, coordination of inpatients and outpatients, and collaborating with nurses, doctors, and other care team members.

The ideal candidate has ARRT, CT credential or within 1 year, and Ohio radiographer licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images across varied settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Educate patients regarding procedures and safety.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and care teams.
• Operate CT equipment safely under supervision and teamwork.
