Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the Night shift team in Northeast Ohio. This role performs CT imaging, supports CT-guided procedures, and collaborates with nurses, physicians, and other care staff.

Responsibilities include patient scheduling, educating patients about procedures, maintaining patient safety, and handling high-stress situations. Requirements include ARRT registration, CT credential within a year, Ohio license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Provide on-the-spot critical thinking and maintain safety under supervision.
