Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Cleveland. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, CT credential within one year, a valid Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS. The position emphasizes teamwork and the ability to work under pressure in a busy trauma-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well under stress, independently and as part of the CT team.
