Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures such as biopsies and drain placements, and coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration with CT credential or the plan to obtain within one year, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification. Nights and on-site work with supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work independently and as part of the CT Team, under supervision as needed.
