Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist for the Radiology Department in Northeast Ohio. The role involves producing CT images, aiding CT-guided procedures, and coordinating imaging for diverse patient populations, including trauma and stroke cases.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, ARRT CT credential within a year, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. The position supports growth in a renowned Level One Trauma Center with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and ARRT eligible/certified CT credential.
• Active Ohio Radiographer license required; CT credential within 12 months if not present at hire.
• Current BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images across neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac anatomy.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Schedule and coordinate imaging for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and work independently within the CT team.
• Collaborate with Nurses, Physicians, and Respiratory Therapists to ensure patient care.
