Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts. You will produce CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling in a busy radiology department.

This role requires ARRT CT credential or eligibility, ARRT radiography certification, an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS. Cross-training opportunities are available within the CT team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtained within probationary period.
• One year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Work with CT team and other care providers to ensure safe, efficient imaging services.
