Job summary

MetroHealth System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift. You will produce CT images, support CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatient and outpatient services across our Level One Trauma Center.

Qualified candidates are ARRT certified with Ohio licensure and BLS. Prior CT experience or ARRT CT certification is preferred; additional training and cross-training opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the probationary period.
• One year related CT experience and/or ARRT CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality CT images in varied settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment to ensure understanding.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Work independently or as part of the CT team.
