Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient. Refers and questions orders to the Radiologist before performing exam.
• Properly identify (Using two patient identifiers) and assist patients while offering a brief explanation of the procedures.
• Interviews patients for a complete medical history and documents pertinent clinical history in EMR.
• Operates CT Scanners and associated equipment with proficiency and ensures patient safety.
• Maintains radiation safety standards and reports equipment malfunctions.
