Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and related equipment in a high-demand radiology department. You will verify orders, prepare patients, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate imaging results.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification (or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine) with CT registry within one year of hire and a BLS certification.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or NMTCB NM technology program.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders; communicates with Radiologist when discrepancies exist.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations; document appropriately.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures; maintain sterile technique.
