Job summary

Gulfside Healthcare Services in Florida seeks an LPN to provide crisis care across home and facility settings, collaborating with Team RNs to deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing.

Ideal candidate holds a Florida LPN license with CPR certification, at least 1 year of nursing experience (hospice/home health preferred), and a valid Florida driver's license with auto insurance. Day and night shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Florida as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification required.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience.
• Hospice, Oncology, or Home Health experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year acute care nursing with symptom management training.
• Must possess and maintain a Florida driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patient and family and intervene.
• Collaborate with Team RNs and other disciplines to ensure quality care.
• Educate patients and families about hospice care and care plans.
• Document and communicate nursing care plans and changes with the IDG.
