Job summary

Ohio's Hospice is seeking a dedicated LPN for Hospice Crisis Care in the Dayton area. This full-time role covers night shifts and involves traveling to patients within the Dayton/Springfield region to provide bedside, 1:1 care under RN supervision.

The ideal candidate is an Ohio-licensed LPN with CPR certification, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to drive in various weather. A strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN in Ohio with no board actions.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Proficient in documentation using computer systems.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime or inclement weather.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 bedside care for patients actively declining.
• Care for patients in homes or facilities under RN supervision.
• Drive to patients within the Dayton/Springfield area.
• Cover night shifts from 8am to 8pm as part of the crisis care duties.
