Job summary

Sentral in San Diego, CA is hiring an Experience Ambassador to guest relations and resident services. You will engage with residents and homeshare guests, handle inquiries, and ensure a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires weekend night availability and a can-do attitude with ownership of tasks. Ideal candidates will have hospitality or customer service experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents, guests, team, management, and third-party vendors.
• Computer savvy with the capacity to learn multiple software systems.
• Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, and follow up with urgency.
• Active listening skills and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Uphold Sentral’s standards, best practices, policies and procedures, and value of excellence in customer service.
• Establish rapport with residents and guests so they always feel loved.
• Serve as the first point of contact between guests and the organization.
• Prioritize and fulfill requests with friendliness, efficiency and confidentiality.
• Greet residents by name and with a smile to make guests feel welcomed.
• Provide exceptional hospitality in line with QA expectations and standards.
• Resolve disputes promptly to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Increase reputation by marketing materials and exemplary service.
• Answer, record, and process calls, messages, and concerns.
• Run daily reports and verify accuracy of special requests.
• Monitor building access and ensure security of residents and guests.
• Identify issues and inform management; take appropriate action.
• Develop relationships among building staff and coordinate with leadership.
• Assist with accommodations during early check-in/late checkout requests.
• Inspect property and log maintenance or cleaning needs and follow up.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures and report incidents.
• Support administrative duties and light copying as needed.
• Engage in special projects and other duties as assigned.
