Job summary

Precision Castparts in Ohio is seeking a CNC Milling Operator for the 10 PM–6 AM shift to set up and run milling machines, ensure parts meet strict quality, and work safely in a team environment.

You will load programs, install tools, perform precise measurements with micrometers, and assist in inspections as part of a high-precision manufacturing operation.

This role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to 6S, with opportunities to gain hands-on experience with advanced CNC equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience reading drawings and measurements with precision.
• Sufficient reading, writing, and math skills.
• Able to work in team-based manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling machines, mount fixtures, load programs, and install tools.
• Load/unload parts and monitor visual and dimensional quality.
• Make minor adjustments and offsets to maintain accuracy.
• Machine tie-bars on bucket cores and take precise measurements.
• Run inspections and interpret X-ray results when required.
• Meet productivity, yield, and quality targets consistently.
• Follow 6S safety practices and keep the workspace clean.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
