Job summary
PrecisionX Group is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in a full-time role. You will operate CNC lathes and mills, set up tool offsets, and monitor cycles to meet tight tolerances. Collaboration with engineering and QA is essential to ensure high-quality parts.
The ideal candidate has experience with precision measuring tools, reads blueprints, and applies GD&T knowledge while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; related certifications preferred.
- Experience operating CNC machines and using precision measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T knowledge encouraged.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and safety awareness.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and mills per production requirements.
- Set machine parameters and tool offsets to ensure quality.
- Monitor production for productivity and quality; adjust as needed.
- Inspect finished parts with precision measuring equipment with QA.
- Collaborate with engineering and QC to address issues.
