Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a CNC machinist on the 3rd shift (11:00 PM–7:00 AM EST) in Ohio. You will program, set up, and operate CNC/N-C machines to perform turning, milling, drilling, and other operations, while following safety procedures and lean principles.

Responsibilities include loading materials, measuring parts, reading blueprints, and inspecting to print specifications. The role requires teamwork and adherence to quality standards with overtime and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Understanding of gauging/measuring devices required.
• Blueprint understanding required (geometric tolerancing).
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions to complete repetitive tasks.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and organize work/priorities.
• Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC/N-C machines to perform turning, drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, boring, welding and other machining operations.
• Load/unload equipment, gather materials, position work area and set parameters.
• Use hand tools and measuring devices to complete tasks.
• Ensure Kanban inventory accuracy and edit/modify NC programs as needed.
• Read blueprints and inspect parts to meet specifications.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain clean work areas.
• Follow safety guidelines, lean principles and company policies.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in training programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
