Job summary

Milacron in Mount Orab, OH is seeking a 3rd Shift CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. You will set up and run CNC milling equipment to produce metal components used in plastics processing machinery, ensuring parts meet strict quality, safety, and delivery standards.

You’ll read blueprints, select tools, adjust speeds and feeds, and monitor operations for dimensional accuracy. Familiarity with inspection gauges and routine machine maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining experience or completion of a machining certificate program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and work instructions.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and shop math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to blueprints and work orders.
• Select, install, and adjust tooling, machine offsets, speeds, and feeds to meet targets.
• Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues during production.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and basic preventative tasks.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records.
• Follow all safety policies and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet schedules and continuous improvement goals.
