Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for nights in our Assisted Living community. You will safely administer medications, provide personal care, monitor residents’ conditions, and document care in the MAR/TAR and daily logs.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work night shifts, and a caring team player attitude to support residents and collaborate with nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ months of experience in a related role.
• Current Medication Technician certification depending on state regulations.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Able to communicate effectively in English and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise self-administered medications in accordance with regulations and Senior Lifestyle policy.
• Count and sign narcotics with approved personnel.
• Order medications and notify responsible party when stock is low.
• Notify supervisor of discrepancies or supply issues.
• Verify medications against MAR and notify pharmacy of discrepancies.
• Provide personal care and basic nursing tasks (ADLs, vital signs, etc.).
• Document in daily logs and communicate concerns to supervisor.
• Maintain clean and restocked medication carts; perform weekly deep cleaning.
