Job summary

Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our night shift team. The role focuses on administering medications, monitoring residents, and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all under our care.

As an Assisted Living CMA Nights, you will document medication administration, report changes to the nursing staff, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare-related training or coursework is a plus.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications according to physician orders and facility protocol.
• Monitor residents and document health changes, vital signs, and reactions.
• Maintain clean, organized medication storage and follow infection control procedures.
• Assist residents with needs and communicate with families as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to coordinate care plans.
• Complete required documentation accurately, including MAR and incident reports.
