Job summary

Capital Health in Oregon is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to support residents with medication administration and daily living tasks in the Assisted Living Program housing.

The CMA works under RN supervision, administering meds and wound care, assisting with ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and coordinating appointments. Expect 24 hours weekly; travel between program locations may occur.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include High School Diploma or GED, CNA or CHHA certification, and 1 year of CNA/CHHA experience.
• Certified CNA/CHHA, plus medication administration training, and CPR certification are expected.
• Excellent customer service and bedside manner are essential for resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration under RN supervision, including insulin if prescribed.
• Provide personal care, ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and laundry as needed.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality; document care and communicate with nursing staff.
