Job summary

Sandy Health and Rehab in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for the night shift (6:00 pm – 6:00 am) to support long-term and short-term residents. You will maintain medication carts, document administrations in the eMAR system, and administer medications according to physician orders and care plans.

The role requires CMA certification, CPR, and a high school diploma, with preference for long-term care experience.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret basic technical information in English.
• Clear communication in English (spoken).
• Perform basic math including unit calculations.
• Demonstrate empathy and strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CMA certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Long-term care or geriatric experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs and assist resident handling.
• Stand for extended periods and work around exposure to fluids/diseases.

Responsibilities

• Maintain medication carts and supplies; monitor inventory and reorder as needed.
• Accurately document administrations in the eMAR system.
• Administer medications per physician orders and resident care plans.
• Observe residents and report changes to licensed nursing staff.
• Perform additional duties to support resident care and team operations.
