Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Illinois is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit. You will lead nightly operations, supervise clinical staff, and ensure safe, high-quality patient care across a 12-hour shift schedule.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS on hire, and 2+ years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory preferred. Sign-on bonus and total rewards package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for an assigned acute care unit.
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, regulatory compliance, quality improvement and staff development.
• Lead nursing operations, supervise clinical staff and ensure patient safety and high quality care.
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams; manage scheduling and resource use.
• Act as unit leader in absence of Director or Nurse Manager; provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope.
