Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) to lead an intermediate care/stepdown unit. The role is full-time nights (7p-7a) with a competitive pay range and a sign-on bonus. You will oversee operations, staffing, and patient care within the RN scope of practice.

The ideal candidate has an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 2+ years of nursing experience, including supervisory work. BSN is preferred. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in the absence of leadership.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope of practice.
