Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for a night shift in the Intermediate Care / Stepdown unit. You will lead daily nursing operations, supervise clinical staff, and ensure safe, high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

This role requires an active state RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire and maintained, and a minimum of two years of nursing experience, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization.
• Coach, mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in the absence of the Director or Nurse Manager.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope of practice.
