Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor (RN) for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown unit. This full-time night shift oversees operations, staffing, patient safety, and regulatory compliance, providing direct patient care when needed.

Qualifications include an active RN license, BSN preferred, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience with supervisory experience preferred. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience; 1 year supervisory/leadership preferred.
• CCRN certificate preferred for ICU not required here.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff.
• Ensure quality patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow and resources.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate nursing staff.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Drive quality improvement and operational excellence.
• Serve as unit leader in absence of Director/Nurse Manager.
• Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope.
