You will coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges, mentor staff, and ensure care plans are executed in alignment with hospital policies. This full-time night shift position emphasizes evidence-based practice, quality outcomes, and patient-centered care within a busy neurology/med-surg unit.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or multi-state license in good standing.
• BSN degree or current enrollment in BSN program.
• Proven leadership and coaching experience in nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, facilitates and evaluates patient care coordination per unit policies.
• Provides clinical leadership and applies evidence based practice to improve care.
• Coordinates patient flow and reassignment to support clinical competency.
• Promotes cost containment and ensures supplies meet par levels.
• Leads staff in huddles, rounds, and department governance activities.
• Interacts with patients/families to review care plans and document teachings.
