Qualifications

• RN Licensure in Florida or eNLC in good standing
• AHA BLS in good standing
• AHA PALS within 1 year of hire
• 2 years adult/pediatric RN experience in acute care
• Prior experience managing day-to-day Nursing Unit operations

Responsibilities

• Review schedules and create on-call schedules; align with census fluctuations.
• Collaborate with Anesthesia to optimize add-ons and transfers and ensure ideal assignments.
• Monitor attendance discrepancies; ensure compliance with attendance policy.
• Drive service scores; conduct huddles and improve patient care processes.
• Coordinate hospital updates, metrics and HCAHPS data reporting.
• Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to clinical staff and volunteers; foster empowerment.
• Lead hand-off reports and communicate assignments to care teams with regular huddles.
• Collaborate across departments to promote team-based care and hospital-wide integration.
• Audit charts, consents, orders, and H&Ps; plan care per policy.
