Nicklaus Children's Hospital in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Nursing Manager to assess, plan, facilitate, and evaluate coordination of patient care in a fast-paced unit. The role provides clinical leadership, mentors staff, and ensures documentation and regulatory compliance while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

The position requires active Florida RN licensure, BLS and PALS within 1 year, and 2+ years of adult/pediatric RN experience in an acute care setting. It is based in Ft.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Florida or eNLC active and in good standing
• AHA BLS active and in good standing
• AHA PALS within 1 year of hire
• 2 years adult/pediatric RN experience in acute care
• Experience managing day-to-day Nursing Unit operations

Responsabilités

• Coordinate patient care per unit/department policies and procedures.
• Provide clinical leadership and mentoring to nursing staff and volunteers.
• Oversee scheduling, staffing, and on-call coverage to optimize patient flow.
• Ensure accurate documentation and regulatory compliance (DNV, CMS, DOH).
