Nicklaus Children's Health System in Miami is seeking an experienced RN with leadership skills to coordinate patient care, lead a nursing team, and ensure efficient patient flow across admission, transfer, and discharge.

The role requires active RN licensure in Florida, a BSN (or enrollment), and 2–4 years of clinical experience. The position supports a patient-centered, safety-focused care environment within a modern hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have current RN license in Florida or eNLC multi-state license and provide required certifications.
• BSN degree or active BSN enrollment; ongoing professional development encouraged.
• 2–4 years of RN clinical experience; prior charge nurse experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and monitor patient flow, ensure timely admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Identify clinical strengths and opportunities; coach and mentor staff.
• Lead daily huddles and participate in care planning rounds with multidisciplinary team.
• Document patient care plans and education provided to patients and families.
• Provide direct patient care as needed during high census or staff shortages.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and hospital policies.
• Promote infection prevention and safety on assigned shift.
