Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System seeks an experienced RN with leadership skills to oversee emergency and trauma patient care. You will provide compassionate, family-centered nursing, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure effective discharge planning.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating patient throughput, and participating in governance and quality initiatives. Florida RN licensure, CPI, PALS, and charge nurse experience are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience.
• RN licensure in Florida.
• CPR: Healthcare Provider.
• CPI within 1 year.
• Charge Nurse experience required.
• PALS within two years.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor patient flow and throughput.
• Mentor staff to improve performance and outcomes.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to meet needs.
• Ensure education on disease processes and discharge planning.
• Administer direct patient care during high census or staffing shortages.
• Lead nursing teams and participate in governance.
