Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program required.
• TN RN license required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plans staff assignments to ensure continuous patient care and optimal unit operations.
• Coordinates, implements and monitors shift activities to facilitate efficient unit operations.
• Provides direct patient care and supervises nursing staff to meet care plans and safety standards.
• Acts as unit liaison and resource nurse-in-charge, coordinating with physicians and other services.
