Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus is seeking an RN Charge Nurse for night shift, full-time. You will guide nursing staff, ensure safe patient throughput, delegate assignments, and collaborate with medical providers to maintain high care quality.

You will also provide direct clinical care, assess and plan patient care per shift, supervise staff, and manage medication administration within hospital policy, aligning with safety and risk management standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in nursing is preferred.
• 1 year of RN experience required.
• Current license/certification to practice nursing as required by state; include BLS, and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient admissions, transfers and discharges; mentors and trains new staff; provides support and guidance to team.
• Monitors patient charts, delivers compassionate patient care, liaises with doctors and administrators, communicates protocol changes.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations; maintains accurate reports and records.
• Directs overall nursing care per the nursing process; coordinates care, administers medications; supports emergency response (HICS) as needed.

Education
