This full‑time night shift role is responsible for providing guidance and support to staff, maintaining a safe environment, ensuring patient throughput, and directing nursing staff. The charge nurse ensures smooth and efficient patient flow within the unit, delegates assignments and provides supervision for support staff based on training and patient acuity. The charge nurse works with medical providers to ensure quality of patient care and provides direct clinical patient care on a per shift basis, overseeing assignments of care and ensuring competency and resource management.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Preferred: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in nursing.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
Certifications: Current RN license; AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as required.
