Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver in Charlotte, NC to deliver and unload food products. You will operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes, including overnight and local schedules, and ensure timely delivery while adhering to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Attains or has valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks and DOT inspections as required.
• Delivers and unloads products according to route and schedule.
• Verifies deliveries and obtains customer signatures; handles payments when required.
• Completes daily hours-of-service logs per federal and company rules.
• Keeps tractor, trailer, and loading area clean and secure.
