Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers and other designated locations. The driver operates tractor-trailers, completes required inspections, secures cargo, maintains accurate records, and provides professional customer service.

Shift: Monday–Friday 6:00pm–2:00am. You will follow DOT regulations, perform inspections, load and unload when required, and communicate with dispatch about routes and delays.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
• Transport and deliver freight according to routes and schedules.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
• Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
• Maintain logs and delivery documents accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes and delays.
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness and professional appearance.
• Assist with loading/unloading as required.
