Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver in the United States to safely transport freight to customers, distribution centers, and other designated locations. You will operate tractor-trailers, complete required inspections, secure cargo, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include on-time deliveries, adherence to DOT regulations and hours of service, accurate logging, and effective communication with dispatch.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification required.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service.
• Ability to load, secure, and inspect cargo safely.
• Able to complete logs and transportation records accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A tractors-trailers and transport freight per routes.
• Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and secure cargo.
• Maintain logs, bills of lading, and delivery documentation.
• Communicate with dispatch about routes, delays, and equipment issues.
• Unload/load cargo as needed and maintain a clean vehicle and work area.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times.
