Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Tractor Trailer Driver to operate Class A trucks on a Monday–Friday schedule (11:00–19:30). The role involves transporting freight to customers and distribution centers, conducting pre/post-trip inspections, and maintaining accurate logs and records.

The successful candidate will hold a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and a current DOT medical certification, and will comply with DOT hours-of-service and safety regulations while providing professional

Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license and acceptable driving record required.
Current DOT medical certification required.
LTL/City driving experience preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, and transportation compliance standards.
Ability to safely operate tractor-trailers and commercial motor vehicles in varied driving and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
Transport and deliver freight according to routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
Perform required pre-trip, en route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Properly load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
Follow all DOT regulations, hours-of-service requirements, traffic laws, and company policies.
