Job summary

Maersk is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to safely operate tractors and deliver freight to customers and distribution centers. The role requires completing inspections, securing cargo, maintaining logs, and providing professional service.

You will communicate with dispatch, handle loading/unloading when needed, and work in varied conditions. Applicants must hold a valid CDL A, DOT medical certification, and Hub to Hub experience, with the ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as

Qualifications

CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
Valid DOT medical certification is required.
Hub to Hub experience is required.
Knowledge of DOT regulations, hours-of-service, and transportation compliance.
Ability to accurately complete logs, bills of lading, inspection reports, and records.
Strong customer service, communication, judgment and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

Safely operate Class A commercial motor vehicles, including tractor-trailers.
Transport and deliver freight per routes, schedules, and customer requirements.
Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
Load, secure, inspect, and protect cargo during transit.
Maintain logs and transportation records accurately.
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and vehicle issues.
Interact with customers at loading docks and delivery sites with professionalism.
Assist with loading and unloading freight as needed.
