Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in Miami, FL to support our foodservice distribution network. You will drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, with overnight and drop deliveries, following DOT regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A and 21+ years old.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Functions as a team member to serve the company.
• Conducts safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensures vehicle safety.
• Reports safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers per route schedule.
• Completes required paperwork and verifications for freight.
