Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers to support America’s food distribution network. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food products to customers with safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include safe driving per DOT regulations, customer interactions, completing paperwork, and end-of-shift vehicle checks. Position offers a stable schedule, benefits, and growth opportunities within a key national distributor.

Qualifications

• Must have 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license required.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Possess or obtain current DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and ensure vehicle safety standards.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report safety hazards.
• Deliver and unload products to customers per route schedule; obtain signatures and collect payments when required.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly; maintain daily hours of service records.
