Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver and unload food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. The role emphasizes safety, timely deliveries, and customer interaction, with a schedule from 4:00am to 6:00am and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet state licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections per DOT regulations.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers as scheduled and obtains signatures.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Maintains trailer and tractor readiness and security.
• Loads and unloads and handles customer returns per policy.
• Maintains daily hours-of-service records as required.
