Job summary

Performance Food Group's Performance Foodservice division is seeking a CDL-A Driver to deliver food and related products to customers across intrastate and interstate routes. You will be the face of the company, ensuring on-time delivery, safe handling, and professional interactions with customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Valid CDL-A license and clean MVR.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure it.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 60–90 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally, ensuring questions are answered accurately and promptly.
• Operates tractor/trailer and performs required safety checks per DOT regulations.
• Delivers and unloads products to customers according to route schedule and secures loads.
• Completes all required paperwork accurately and legibly, including delivery receipts and invoices.
• Maintains vehicle safety, cleanliness, and proper securing of freight, and reports hazards immediately.
