Job summary

Akumin is seeking dependable CDL Class A truck drivers for mobile medical imaging trailers on night shifts in West Virginia. Responsibilities include moving 1–2 trailers per night, setting up/tearing down equipment, and ensuring safe, timely transport to hospitals and clinics.

Training is provided for 4–6 weeks, with paid training and comprehensive benefits. Applicants should have a clean driving record, DOT medical certification, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) in state of residence and DOT Medical certification.
Clean DOT driving record.
Able to set up medical diagnostic equipment at delivery sites (training provided).
Comfortable driving and parking large tractor trailers.

Responsibilities

Drive tractors with auto transmission; 1–2 years’ experience preferred.
Safely operate and move mobile medical imaging trailers to assigned locations.
Set up and tear down medical equipment at destination; 30–45 minutes.
Ensure trailers are securely connected to tractors and comply with regulations.
Safety is a priority; report any mechanical or safety issues.
