Job summary

Akumin Inc is seeking dependable CDL-A truck drivers for mobile medical imaging unit deliveries on night routes in Lexington, KY. You will drive tractors with automatic transmission, set up and tear down trailers, and transport 1–2 trailers per night after training.

A clean DOT record and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required. Hours are typically 2PM–6PM start and 12AM–4AM finish, 4–5 nights per week, with 8–10 hour shifts including some weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) in the state of residence and DOT Medical certification.
• Clean DOT driving record.
• Able to set up medical diagnostic equipment at delivery sites (training will be provided).
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with automatic transmission with 1–2 years' experience; 2 years preferred.
• Connect trailers to tractor securely and set up medical equipment at destination.
• Learn medical equipment specifics during training.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations; safety first.
• Monitor, report, and repair any mechanical or safety item affecting safe transport.
