Job summary

Akumin is seeking dependable CDL Class A truck drivers to operate tractors for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment in Bowling Green, KY. This night schedule involves setting up trailers and unloading at client locations, with 2 trailers per night and training for 4-6 weeks.

The role requires a clean DOT record, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and passing background and drug tests; benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CDL Class A license with DOT Medical certification.
• Clean DOT driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Experience driving heavy tractor trailers.
• Ability to set up medical equipment at delivery sites (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Drive tractors with automatic transmission and 1–2 years’ experience; 2 years preferred.
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive assigned vehicle.
• Ensure trailers are securely connected to tractor.
• Set up medical equipment at destination.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations; safety first.
